An exceptional photograph. I came upon this on her main page, after critiquing another of her photos. Things I really like about this picture: I love the color. The different tones of blue are fantastically pure. They also contrast very well with the clouds. I also love the way that the wheat at the bottom are a rich golden brown. This photo also has a certain "disappearing highway" feel to it. Overall, the imagery and colors are fantastic. Now for what I don't like: I would have liked to see more of the ground. I think the shot was taken a little high, and I could have lived without the higher top part of the sky, in favor of more ground. I seems the part of the road closest to the photographer is unnaturally cut off, interfering with the otherwise effective "disappearing highway" element. Overall tough, this piece still carries a certain impact. Like I said before, excellent color, a good perspective and a certain rustic, endearing quality. Good shot.
